Hocus Pocus

for some reason I'm singing Hocus Pocus in my head to the same tune as Jeepers Creepers. Odd. Recently, I had a convo with our Deb on the theme and she mentioned Hocus Pocus by Focus. Now that is all I think when I think of the Hocus Pocus... Focus just has to be added!

Anyhoo, I digress ~ this week's host on Tagalong is Gez. I'm so pleased as I love her work.

For this tag, I've used distress paints for the background. Images are from Hidden Vintage Studio at Deviantscrap, Lisas Altered Art, Majik designs on Etsy and the skull is from Itkupilli.

Happy Hallowe'en Month!

Finally, October is upon us, with thoughts of ghouls and ghosties and vamps. Gosh I just love Hallowe'en

Here is my first Hallowe'en project of the month of October. It is an altered notebook for That's Crafty.

It's a double sided notebook... one side for spells

and the other side for poisons

Spooky is the theme on Country View Crafts... so I'm entering my book :-) The Artistic Stamper wants us to 'alter something' so i'm entering my little notebook.

Happy BEEday

To Miz Lils.... wow she is 20! I don't know how that happened. I cannot BEElieve it.

Here she is when she was born, with my mum who was there with me. I'm so thankful that my mum got to see both of my girls grow up to be amazing young ladies.

Pre-Birthday lunch on Friday with both my lovelies.

Here's another Autumn Tag I've made for TagAlong using Hidden Vintage Studios images. One stitch at a time also have an Autumn theme as well as 'it's all about the vintage' has an Autumn Harvest theme. Hopefully, this also fits in with their challenge

 and a yummy honey-coloured BEE tag.

BEE Yourself

Big clue there in the title... it's BEES over on SPA this week... our wonderful host is Tracey from Hidden Vintage Studios who was even inspired to create a digi kit using BEES 

Here is my BEE postcard using one of the Hidden Vintage bees

 and one for my personal challenge of using Lisas Altered Art images on EVERY postcard I make for SPA this year... so far so good. 

All my collages use digital images, however all my work is Mixed Media. Every flower, bee and fairy is painstakingly cut out. 

I'd also like to enter these into the PanPastelUk challenge of anything goes, I've used sprays, paste, masks, pan pastels, collage images, watercolours.

Here's a tag, using a digi stamp from The Octopode Factory and some other bits and bobs. I tried stamping on the cardboard, but alas it doesn't work so great ;-) I did manage some grunge n a bit of stamping on the paper.

Riding, Cycling, Flying, Driving

Clues to this week's SPA... the theme is TRANSPORT. And our wonderful host is Mark who is demoing at Ally Pally this weekend. (good luck for that Mark, not that you need it)

I'm continuing on my quest to use Lisas Altered Art images on ALL my SPA entries this year. So proud of myself that up to now I have managed it (yay for me)

I'd already made my postcard at Anne's the other week, however it seemed to grow legs and disappeared so I made these yesterday (albeit with no glasses therefore nigh on blind)
