yay over on Twinkle Twinkle Kristen's blog I won the 100th post giveaway... fantastic goodies! Can't wait to play with them. Even the envelope was funky green with polka dots on! fab stuff... thank you Kristen... my first time to win any of the giveaways! yay for me!
Green is one of my ultra fave colours.... also the theme on theme thursday this week. Here's a little green fairy from Lisa's Altered Art collage sheets... sitting on her mushroom (green also) reflecting on life, love and art.
Why not head over to Lisa's ~ she has just added a massive amount of $ 1 sheets... they are SO fun to use.
I'm using Lisa's new sweet shoppe images at the moment to make some ATC's and low and behold I came across a challenge for Ice Cream... I'd already started on this little chap and his scream for icecream so I've finished him off and i'm entering it for Opus Gluei this week.
... for me .... Canvas Work. Last Tuesday I went to a canvas workshop. I've had a slight phobia of working on canvas... i don't know why! lol so I thought this would be the ideal opportunity to embrace just a little canvas! It was at my local craft stall... Katz & Co...
Firstly, we made lots of shaving foam backgrounds... love this technique for background making. And here's the two canvas's I made whilst doing the workshop. photo's aren't as bright as the real thing.
A week before I took a brayering workshop at Katz & Co... it was fun but I struggled to get to grips with a brayer. It was hard work and I nearly had to stamp my feet in frustration! lol
Both classes were super fun and I enjoyed meeting other like-minded people. And I have a lot of new backgrounds to play with as well! Happy days!
Here's an owl skinny I've made using a background I received from Linda (liveart) and all the images are from Amy (paper and gluestix). I had such fun with this. I've made it for a forum swap and I'm using for Theme Thursday this week where the theme is Bright Colours!
