the theme on Sunday Stampers this week is 'pockets' hmmm... i decided to make a tag which held an ATC. I've used Creative Studio's stamps and the Cosmic Shimmer Vintage sprays. These are the best photo's I could get because my camera batteries ran out on me. Pocket tag is photographed on one of my sea salt backgrounds ;-)
is our theme over at SPA this week... sorry it's late peeps... I had an early night and forgot to schedule the post for you all.
Here's my postcard, I've used rubberstamps that I got from That's Crafty ~ you can see how I made the card over here
Gomez has had a kitten
(only one and I'm a tad worried about her as she's still quite big ~ trip to the vet methinks)
There's a couple of sewing themes on challenges this week. On Take A Word this week, the theme is Sewing... here's a giant tag that I've made using some stamps from Creative Studios... you can see more about my giant tag here and on One Stitch at a Time the theme is faux/real stitching
Here's my piece for Happy Daze this week. There's a monthly challenge on the Happy Daze blog... where if you join in (using something that they sell in the shop) you are in with a chance to win £15 instore.
Here's my Grand Design for this sassy little queen bee.... you can see the rest of it on the Happy Daze blog.
On SPA this week the theme is something relating to SHAKESPEARE. I had to use this image from The Octopode Factory. It's delightful. I'd also like to enter this into Hel's Sunday Stamper's theme of MEN
Father's Day tomorrow in the UK. My dad is so very sadly not with us anymore. But in the spirit of things (no pun intended) I've made these cards for Scrapology's theme of Vintage which this month is being sponsored by the adorable Hels Sheridan. I've used some stamps from Creative Studios
I am SOOO pleased with this tag I made... I've used stamps from That's Crafty. This tag started out life as a piece of scrap paper, one of the people at craft club was going to discard... yes DISCARD i say!) I quickly got hold of it and said it was WAY too good to go in the bin. Of course, I got the usual head shakes... what is Mandy up to now and how wack I am. Well this is how it turned out! I'm entering it into Craft your Passion where the theme is anything goes... if you'd like to see how I made the tag... please head over to the That's Crafty Blog
that is SO one of my most FAVE films EVER! great choice of theme for this week's Sunday Stamper.
My artful effort is a postcard, using some stamped images I cadged off someone yesterday at the craft club. They are by Creative Studios designed by Sam Poole... who *excitedly announces* has asked me to be on her DT. I have had my welcome package and I am STOKED.
anyhoo... here's my postcard for Sunday Stamper
... by The Clash...is what I'm listening to atm. Great song
Yesterday, I made this altered book at a craft club that I go to. I don't know why but I always seem to choose this shade of turquoise to alter stuff. lol. It's not great as my living room wall is this shade of turquoise and so when I do altered frames/mirrors/tagging things I cannot put it on my wall as it blends in! lol
for Happy Daze this week... I made an Altered Zetti Shrine... I love this alot... the colours, texture everything!
Here is one of the pictures of it... the rest are on the Happy Daze blog
I made this a few days ago and I was getting a bit worried I wouldn't get a decent pic of it, but thankfully, the weather was great yesterday and I managed to get a few shots outside in the natural light. it's 3-3d so I couldn't scan it.
I'm thinking of making it into a hanging, maybe with some beaded trim and some curly wire.
On Digital Tuesday and Try it on Tuesday the theme is anything goes. Here are some bits I've made using digital collage images from Hidden Vintage Studios on Deviantscrap. This is their brand new release... Little Mariners. Gotta love a nautical theme.
