Happy New Year everyone.

I had an eventful December~ to say the least!
Firstly, I went to Morocco for a few days.... came home with a stomach bug, then got a bad cold (which I've still got) then went and fell over and broke my elbow!!!  So I'm semi incapacitated at the moment.... it took me 2 days to make this postcard.

This week the theme on SPA is WINGS chosen by the lovely AUDREY

feeling grateful

our theme over on SPA this week is GRATITUDE...

there's so much I feel sad for these days but I do have some bright spots in my life... my beautiful daughter, my friends and then there is nature. i am truly grateful for the beauty that surrounds us in nature.
Whilst I was making my postcard, I was debating what I wanted to do on it. I decided on nature and what happened? a ladybird appeared on my work table! a sure sign i was going in the right direction.

show us what you feel grateful for :-)

photo is atrocious, i will retake in the morning :-)

Venus Smiles Not in a House of Tears

This week's theme on SPA was chosen by Stacy but for unknown reasons I have had to make the sample myself

I've used a stamp of Botticelli's Venus (just her head) that I've had in my collection for yonks and zettified her up.
