Carte Postale

Our theme this week on Sunday Postcard Art is CARTE POSTALE so anything goes but your postcard must have the words somewhere on the postcard. Sounds easy? I'm always stumped when I have a free theme. Where does one start.... so I just carried on the postal theme and used this image by Lunagirl Moonbeams.

Classic Tale of sweet Love

When I first saw this image I knew I wanted to use it along with the animals and the mushrooms (ok I know they are toadstools but I like the word mushroom)

So at first glance you think oh Sleeping Beauty but to me it is Snow White, who was always surrounded by the animals of the woods.

This week the theme on Sunday Postcard Art is Namaste. I first came across this word when I visited Nepal many ago. The airline staff said it to us as we boarded the plane and then when we left, along with a little bow.

It's such a beautiful word, and encompasses all feelings of peace, love and wisdom.
