Cats, Dogs and other things

phew these past few week's at Octopode Towers has been crazy. Firstly, Petrie was really poorly he didn't eat for days on end, we even did the unmentionable and bought cooked chicken... he still wouldn't eat. BUT after a quick dose of antibiotics he's on the mend.

Then this week, the kittens went in to be neutered on Wednesday.... yay now I'm thinking they can go outside :-) and yesterday Gomez had her little op so she wouldn't have any more kitties. I think 4 is quite enough! lol We are all so soppy here we couldn't give any animals away!

This week DillyBeans theme is 'pop dots' so I used 3d foam 

on this little chica on her head and wings

When Donna and I discussed themes for Sunday Postcard Art a few weeks ago, little did we know just how apt this week's theme would be. It's done nothing but rain here where I am ALL week. I walk everywhere so I'm not too keen on the rain! It's far too wet. But I have made 2 postcards...

Meet Gulliver

He's one of the little animals I made yesterday using some felt from Creative Studios....

check out the Creative Studios blog for other felt ideas ~ my pattern for Gulliver came from one of my good friends Amy. I must admit I am very fussy about quality of felt and this felt from Sam is definitely great and the colours are lush! I love to use felt as there's no fraying and you don't even have to sew it... you can glue it ;-)

Festival of Lights

This week we are celebrating Diwali on SPA ~ the Hindu festival of lights.... here is my postcard... made with a picture of Ganesh, some sprays, masks stamps and colouring.
