yes I am sooo pleased with myself! I kept wanting to do some machine stitching but was too scared in case it went wrong and ruined my artwork. But yesterday I had the machine out sewing an art bag for Lily so I thought *go for it* so I did!
I'm using these for the MMM challenge which is something new as stitching on cards is something new and very EXCITING for me! lol
I used Spice it Up collage sheets for the images and the backgrounds are both handmade by moi.

Oh wow these are lovely.
Really gorgeous work. Love them.
They look great, shame about the stitching.......no only joking! Works great as a border :)
These are great. Sewing machines and me were never a great mix so this is one technique I'm never likely to try!!
Both are gorgeous
Aaaaw how sweet!! love your cards and your stitching :)
You asked about the serendipity technique, click here to read more about this random paperpiecing technique. She also have lots of links with examples.
Have fun!!

Your pieces and stitching are great, Mandy!
i always love the touch of stitches on a card, so glad you gave it a try! beautiful cards, mandy!!
Great work, love it!
Well, I think you've inspired me yet again, Mandy! The stitching adds such wonderful detail to these collages. I've always admired the complexity of your work, and you've added one more element of design. I've thought about using stiches in my art before, but until now, I've been a bit too intimidated to try.
Clever you - both for the stitching and the great backgrounds.
I love looking at your art--it's very cool!!
Mandy, I find both of these pieces fantastic and beautiful. Great design!
Aren't you glad you've taken the plunge? :-) The good thing about stitching on artwork is it doesn't have to be perfect - in fact it looks better when it isn't.
Great atcs, Mandy. WD
Great work as always Mandy! Love them both!
These are great, Mandy. I'm afraid to try stitching on cardstock for fear I'll screw up the tension on my machine. Any secrets? Both your cards are colorful and artful! Well done.
Love the stitching. Wonderful cards, both of them.
You are so talented and such an inspiration--I love your work!!!

Great fairies too
They look lovely and the red thread gives them just the right touch!
Stitching does add another dimension! It's such a shame I don't own a sewing machine.
Mandy, these cards are gorgeous - I'm so glad you made the leap to stitch on cards - I bet it won't be the last time :-) Diane
