Which way now? something I often wonder to myself... sometimes I feel like I'm

on a yo-yo.... I am extremely happy with how this has turned out. Hands are stamped by Sija (thank you!) the rest created by moi. The arrows say up, down, to or fro.... which way?

Me and Hermine have done a mailart and matching tag swap this month. She has received it so here it is!

MMM ~ Whimsey

I've made a house for Mixed Media Monday ~ I bought these chipboard houses from the US and absolutely love them. I inked them up first with pigment inks, then stamped randomly on the background. spritzed perfect pearls, then stamped the word 'imagine' a few times. I then stamped and embossed diamonds and swirls on the background. I used a sheet from Lisa's Altered Art to do the little fairy girl. Then finally used acrylics to distress the background a bit more.

4x4 Friday ~ People with Wings

Here's mine ~ I've turned mine into a hanger but the main body is 4x4, I have used polyfiller on some chipboard and made swirls then used starburst stains on the background. This is a scan and it hasnt turned out too well.

Think outside the box/ Theme Thursday

Well thought I would 'step outside of my box' today... I dont really have mags but my daughters do so i've raided their stash of teen mags. All elements of the 'diva' are collaged mag pics ~ the background is handmade as usual, very rare these days i used any type of backing paper. So i'm also entering this for theme thursday as the theme this week is stamped backgrounds. I used starburst stains first, then stamped randomly with different stamps, then stamped and embossed with a diamond stamp.

GA ~ Gypsies

A few weeks ago I was asked by Nancy to host the Gothic Arch challenge this week. I was totally overjoyed and excited to be doing something like this. I wanted to do the theme of 'Gypsies' as I totally love the vibrancy and lushness of the colours. It's just a wonderful theme and I hope you all enjoy it too :-)
