Snow is Falling all Around Me

children playing... having fun! well.... change children for dogs... unfortunately Mr Petrie is not allowed off his lead even in the garden as he has a habit of disappearing out of the back of the garden!

Woke up to SNOW this morning and it's still snowing now.

Rainbow Cake

I've seen rainbow cakes on flickr and on people's blogs and thought Little A and Mummy should have a go ... so..... here's our attempt at it! we only had 4 colours and made little ones. But they look FAB!

Christmas Baking Day with Amber

Yesterday, Amber and I began our christmas baking. Look at Little A hard at work rolling rum truffles!

We also made some mince pies and jam tarts! yummy! The hearts on the tarts were a tad too large.

Finally I have the tree up! I wasn't sure I'd get it up this year with all the rushing about I've been doing! so.... here it is in all it's glory (well without the lights on! lol) I love my tree to bits. it's so kitsch and gorgeous with all the pink decorations on it.

What a week!

For the past week or so, I have been helping Miz Lils to make stuff for her stall on the gift bazaar. I mostly did printing and cutting out and the running around, whilst Miz Lils carried on in her creative manner so producing amazing hand-drawn bags, tshirts and hand sewn dolls. You can see all her creativeness on her blog here and here. Most of the stuff I wanted to keep for myself! lol

Who Are YOU?

On LotsToDo this week the challenge is to show your fave technique... well mine is COLLAGE.... I love to put little bits of paper together to make a lovely picture. I've also made the background on this 6 x 4" piece.... another one of my fave things... this one is made with shaving foam and alcohol inks and then watercoloured on top.

The Present Porter Elf

This is the theme on Wednesday Stamper this week. I used one of the dolls I made using TumbleFishStudio images.... to me she looks like she needs a ticket to the WC and directions on how to get there!

Creative Process ?

My wonderful friend Amy bought me a collage sheet from TumbleFishStudio on Etsy.... I made these art dolls to use on my artwork with the sheet.
