Thursday's child....

goodly morning, I seem to be here again. Here's my tag for this week's Tagalong challenge where the theme is to use gesso in a new way. Not sure it's a new way but I've used gesso ;-p

Kay has joined us a hostess this week. Head over and take a look.

for my tag, I began with some collage, then added paint and sprays through stencils. However, I felt this a tad too bright for the images I wanted to use. (all from lunagirl) so I added a layer of gesso and then wiped some off to knock back the colour.

    Definitely a great use of gesso, Mandy! I also love your background collage. It has interest but does not overpower your focal images (love them). Do I see some of Dyan's leaves in there? Nice touch!
