aw this is adorable..i am going to link this later..i have to go run a couple of errands..
Mandy you do a nice job with your collages...and All I can say is keep at it..you are on the right track..and like anything else, the more practice we get..the better we get at something. 8-9 years ago when i was in college i took a 2-d art class that i adored...except one section...I thought I really sucked at it...I whined and moaned about the whole assignment..and swore that i would never attempt it again...well until i fell into the altered art world...that thing I hate so much was collage!!! and now after a few years of creating them of studying others that i adore..playing with techniques and different mediums and styles to mix in..I now call it my most favorite art medium!
I did finally go dig out those two collages for that assigment not long ago and realized that they weren't that bad after all!
so long story short...just keep creating them...and play and study the other artists that you adore and see what about theirs you love and work on adding those elements in and you will develop your own style that you are happy with!..i love your style and really feel that you are doing wonderfully already~
