Tea for Two

Lily has begun a new challenge blog. Here is my entry for it. The first theme is Alice in Wonderland.... I decided to go square as it's something different to what I usually make. I nearly hyper-ventilated when I ripped this page out of an Alice book (I had bought the book to use for tearing... I already had one to keep) That was a hard thing to do!

    Amazing talent in this family! I can see where Lily got her creativity from. Fabulous work. I can imagine how rough it would be to tear the book. I've nver gotten the nerve, myself. LOL LOVE your backgrounds, and of course, Lily's images. Can't wait to play along. Need to learn the art of mixed media, though. Love it, but can't quite make it work... yet. xxD

    I LOVE this piece! It's one of those that made me yell at My Guy so he could be forced to see, too. :)

    Your colors and scene are outstanding!

    Giggled at your page from a book comment since I wrote that I wanted/didn't want an Alice book page while working on a project for The Altered Alice. Kudos to you for having the guts to tear a page out of a book!

    Mandy, I love this "Alice" piece you made. I can definitely see the story you wanted to tell with it. You make those images come alive even more so than they already do. Your artwork compliments your daughters artwork. Awesome!!!
