well not quite! I'm a bit of a grump at Christmas but I'm giving it a go! lol

I've made this tag using the Toad Emporium micro kit.... 

which I first photographed on some spooky paper (the bow is too big to fit in the scanner!)

then whilst walking this morning I found a fabulous spooky piece of twig to use for photo's

Quoth the Raven

this week's theme on SPA is Ravens.... I know I've not done a EAP postcard so the title is moot but hey I like the quote! I'm also entering this into the 'so artful challenge' of either a harvest moon OR black, orange and yellow.

ooohhh Christmas....

I put my hands up and admit that I'm not a great lover of Christmas... I like Hallowe'en. I like weird and wonderful. We tend to mix hallowe'en and christmas up in this house... We usually have some sort of fancy-dress-ness at Christmas.... any hoo I digress .... Here's my little creation for Creative Studio's this week... using Sam's fabbo Steampunk Christmas set... how cool....??? I've altered a mini notebook from Asda (just a smartprice one) I couldn't get a grand photo of it though... I think it's because it's got sparkly varnish on it 

 and here is a little card creation I threw together for That's Crafty... if you'd like to see how I made this then head over to their blog here  I love these quirky little girls from Catslife Press ~ one of my uber fave stamp companies.

Hallowe'en is sneaking in

About 3 years ago I bought a black christmas tree with the sole intention of having a hallowe'en tree. Up to now we've not even opened it... so yesterday Lily and I got it out and Lily decorated it with some bits we've picked up over the years from various Hallowe'en aisles in shops. I now have 3 boxes of Hallowe'en goodies under my bed and half a box of Christmas decorations ! lol  Here is our tree, artistcally photographed by Lily using instagram (the only reason i would even consider getting a new phone!)

 This week's card for Happy Daze  ~ thought I would try an alternative looking Hallowe'en card

 and here is a bookmark for Creative Studios ~ even though Sam doesn't have any hallowe'en stamps, I was determined to make something resembling Hallowe'en by collaging stamped images together.
