I don't know about you but here at Octopode Towers we are definitely enjoying a bit of Justified. Raylan is a modern day cowboy.

However, for my postcard this week (theme is WILD WEST) I've gone for a more whimsical point of view. Using Tim Holtz stamps in the background and a Lisas Altered Art image I've made this postcard.

Today's the Day

for a new challenge blog ~ TAGALONG. The first challenge is to make your tag VINTAGE ~ here is mine

 This is how my tag began~ lots of inks, sprays, paint and masks.

Then after adding some collage images and shading with pan pastels.

Keeping Busy

I had a very sad loss last weekend, my mum passed away last weekend very suddenly. It's hard to deal with, my whole life is upside down as I have looked after her everyday for the past 6 years since she lost her leg. I've been numb but that is slowly wearing off and so what better way to keep busy than to try to craft a bit.

I made this 'doll' of my mum to use in an art journal.

 and here is a (not surprising) tag for the Lunagirl Moonbeams theme of Alice.

Tag swap with Deb

Deb from RustyCage and I do a regular swap between us... this time we decided to go a tag swap.

Deb's theme was Renaissance (she never lets me rest on my laurels! lol) and my theme was Cemetery Angels
