Going on an *inspiration* walk

A few week's ago Miz Lils and Little A went with Dr S for an 'inspiration' walk. I think Miz Lils picked up some kind of loopy virus... oh no wait ... this is her normal self! lol (apparently it's blurry because it was raining... )

Exam Fever

Exams have started at school. Little A has biology today, she has been studying so fingers crossed she will do ok. For the next few weeks, it'll be exam fever in our house!

My afternoon sorted.....

I had dreams today that I would sit in my garden on my sun lounger and do some crochet. I had it all ready

But the dogs won't give me any peace and it's gone overcast..... so I have this lot of ironing (yes there IS a basket under there somewhere!) to do instead. And guess what? the dogs are asleep! aaaggghhh!

on Lots to Do this week the theme is stamped collages... I don't usually do just stamping these days but here is a card I made for Fatma for an eye swap. I stamped the eye first, then masked it, the hand, masked it then the letters. Easy and Super Fast!

Garden Time

Miz Lily and Little A have agreed to do an hour of gardening a week. So today, it was so lovely and sunny so we headed outside to mow the grass, cut overgrown bushes and weed.

Yes, Miz Lils needs to concentrate ~ that girl has no body strength at all! Little A in the background inspecting her trimming of next doors conifer that was overgrowing into my garden!

Finally! Yes she did it! She sawed through the dead conifer!

No more room in the garden recycle bin so will have to do for now!

Clearing up, Cats and Crochet!

Yesterday I had a rare day off, so I set about clearing up some of my 'stuff' ~ this is the bag I used to put odd stamps or stamp plates I found around the place.... bear in mind it is 20" high! I just don't have any more room (I already have 4 deep drawers full plus 3 boxes full) to put any more stamps, strangely this doesn't deter me from buying more! lol

I am turning into such a crochet obsessive! I am crocheting all the time.... for saying a few weeks ago I was adamant that I could not possibly do crochet. Oh no not me! here's what I've made since last week. 23 up til this photo... did more last night!

This is how we found the cats sleeping last night behind the sofa! Such cuteness.
