My Boy takes a Bath

Oh dear... he was not a happy boy this morning... firstly, i had to chase him to get him in the bath... then when he was nice and clean would he look at me? oh no! And no kisses for Mama either! Myrtle is just looking on perplexed!

No Ink equals ....

a productive Sunday in other ways... I did some baking of coconut cookies, some fairy cakes, crocheted 14 granny squares and wandered amongst the flowers!

My inspiration

On Louise's tag challenge this week, you have to use a word that inspires you.... i've gone a little outside the brief by using images that inspire me.... not only zetti but it's my two daughters who inspire me the most, they are beautiful and keep me going... and who have been transformed!!Lot's of things inspire me... not usually words... but people, nature, colour, animals, music ~ life!

A Pair of Patchwork Birds

it's quite a dark background so you can't see much of the graveyard but it is there!

Learning to Crochet.....

Yes! Me, Mandy is learning to crochet. I'm so chuffed with myself about it. For years I had put it off thinking it was way too difficult but Mum nagged me so much the other day I gave it a bash.... here's my very first granny squares!

The Duchess

I watched the The Duchess film earlier this week and it has inspired me to make some art using pictures of the Duchess of Devonshire. Such a poignant story.

Marie Moo's

My muse has gone on holiday somewhere very remote I fear. I haven't been able to create anything for a few days now. I did manage to finish these Moo's which are for Theme Thursday where the theme is miniature art. I love making moo's. I've made these for a monthly trade I do with Anne and Carol. The moo's were made a few week's ago but I then lost one (?) and so had to make another to finish the set.
