Collage Obsession Easter

Here's my Easter postcard using the image on collage obsession. I've been wanting to join in with this challenge blog for a while now but I never seem to have time, so I'm glad to be joining in this week :)

Mess or Muse??

OMG! I was beavering away this morning making some bunny people happy as a clam then disaster struck! I couldn't find my white pen. aaggghhh.... at that moment I actually 'looked' at my little table I use whilst watching TV and creating. The table measures 17" x 24" but can you see any of it??? NO! gosh i was so shocked by the amount of mess I had on it, I had to take a photo!

What's there? wool, knitting needles, collage sheets, bit of cut out backgrounds, scissors, inks, collage images, posca pens, a pedometer (?), an easter chick, a cat toy, stamps and glue

Had to take a pic of the pup-stars keeping me company! The pooches look massive on this photo but they are small.... the cats are bigger!

Time for Tea

Yes, it's tea time on SPA this week.

I made two postcards (whilst drinking several cups of tea!)

Growth

on Gingersnapcreations the random redhead challenge is 'growth' ~ i thought of birds and eggs which in turn made me think of the age old question..... which came first.... the chicken or the egg? well i changed the chicken to a bird! lol

spring has sprung

on Theme Thursday this week the theme is open as long as it's on a 2 x 4" piece of work. Here's mine... I've gone with 'spring' as it's such a vibrant time of year.

Family Film Night

Monday night rolls around again and it's Little A's turn to choose ..... ''scooby doo'' !! I made my very first funnel cake... i made a lemon drizzle one.... yummy and I made a banana loaf too.

My friend Anne made me this GORGEOUS scarf.... one thing I cannot do is Crochet!!

What a productive weekend I had with Anne! 2 postcards, 6 atc's, 3 tags, 2 twinchies AND 10 backgrounds between us.

It all proved too much for Lily on Saturday night ~ again! lol

On crazy amigo's they are having a party! here's my atc for the theme. Using cute dog image and stars from Collage Anonymous on Etsy and the mushroom's are from Julia (ceremony).

SteamPunk

Martina chose our theme on SPA this week... my biggest challenge... STEAMPUNK. I struggled at first to think what to do... but once Lily suggested making wackadoodle dolls to use I found it much easier. LandofNoDStudio's on flickr was a great source of inspiration too as Deborah has some steampunk people already made up on a FREE collage sheet!

This week we are celebrating Mothers on SPA where linda has chosen the theme of GODDESS. Here is my VENUS. She's decided she's fed up standing in a shell all day and wants to have some fun! She's having a dress up day. Venus stamp from Cherry Pie.

Spring

well its certainly springing here in Derby! It's fresh but the sun has been shining all week, the daffs are ready to pop their heads open and so many crocuses!

..... or in our case into the 3D cinema! Yes we went to see ALICE in Wonderland in 3d today! Fantastical animation, illustration and story. Wow I was impressed.

Bird on a Tag

It is 4.15am and I am STILL up! I cannot go to bed because my smoke alarm is going off every 12 minutes and has to be turned off manually! Aaaggghhhh!! so I've been creating.

For this week's Crazy Amigo's, we have been challenged to make a tag. Here is my tag... I've used images from Spice It Up. The background is made using cosmic shimmer paints.

Orange PoppySeed Syrup Cake ~ Yum!

Family Film Night fun. Yay! Little A chose this week. 'the fast and the furious ~ tokyo drift' I made a gorgeous cake ~ Orange poppyseed syrup cake. yum yum. It takes delish! Recipe from one of my flickr friends meil bakes/madhu.
